Melissa Officinalis is a wellness retreat surrounded by greenery, an oasis of rest in the most authentic heart of the Eternal City. The owner, an art curator and lover of botany, has combined her passions in this elegant apartment with a lush terraced garden. A true rarity in the Prati district, a very central area of Rome, which enjoys all the comforts and from which in a few minutes on foot you can reach Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Di Spagna, Via del Corso and the most interesting art and cultural sites of the city.
The house consists of a living room with sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, kettle and toaster), a bathroom with bathtub, a single bedroom, a double bedroom and a further double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with independent access directly from the garden.
Air conditioning is present in all rooms, with the exception of the single bedroom (provided with ventilation).
Enriching the spaces are the works and sculptures of important Italian artists, including Marcello Reboani, Chiara Rapaccini, Fernanda Pivano, Emanuele Diliberto, as well as the presence, in some rooms, of botanical-themed prints dating back to 1800.
The love for art, nature and culture shines through in every detail, from the cotton and organza fabrics of the Florentine designer Lisa Corti, made in India with the ancient print block technique, to the well-stocked library with volumes in English and Italian that the owner shares with her guests. Up to the enchanting garden where you can breathe the vibrant air of one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Rome thanks to the comfortable outdoor furniture and a small veranda lounge.
The apartment is located in the most elegant heart of the Prati district, an area known by the name of "Villini" where it is still possible to admire some villas from the early twentieth century in their original conditions and with their Liberty decorations, some by by Giacomo Balla. Among elegant houses and secret gardens handed down for generations within the same families it will be possible to get lost and experience Rome in a unique and unrepeatable experience.
